Learning Emporium is dedicated to making child-centered learning more fun for kids and convenient for adults. Inspired by a Whole Child approach to education, we strive to collaborate with parents and teachers to engage, educate, and empower children with an emphasis on nurturing each child’s Social-Emotional, Cognitive, Language, and Physical Development. Our products, workshops, and blog promote the use of play-based strategies to stimulate young minds, foster creativity, and establish a foundation of school-readiness skills.
Learning Emporium endeavors to be a trusted leader and respected resource for educational play by providing carefully selected products (both original designs and curated favorites), thoughtful workshops, and an informational blog to support parents and teachers in inspiring the next generation of innovative thinkers and lifelong learners. We are driven by our commitment to providing parents and teachers with practical tools, research-based strategies, and effective programs to create rich learning environments, so that all children can have more opportunities to benefit from positive early learning experiences. As we aspire to achieve our vision, we hope to:
- Empower children to feel successful as scholars, take ownership of their learning, and seek more challenges by exposing them to developmentally-appropriate practices that support a range of learning styles and abilities
- Empower parents to embrace their roles as their child’s first (and most important) teacher by sharing simple, hands-on activities that are convenient to implement
- Empower teachers to create a comprehensive educational support system for their students by sharing ways to collaborate with parents so that children are encouraged to reinforce their skills and knowledge by making connections beyond the classroom walls
- Empower families from all backgrounds to work towards closing the achievement gap by making high quality learning materials more accessible and affordable, so that all children are supported and given the tools to thrive in school and their other aspirations.
